The Tragic Shooting Incident in Galveston County

One man is dead and another is in critical condition after a shooting in Galveston County overnight, according to the Galveston County Sheriff’s Office.
The shooting took place in the parking lot of Ol’ Mothers Speakeasy at 3550 State Highway 146 on Sunday. Witnesses reported that an altercation outside the bar escalated when the suspect opened fire, got into a vehicle, and fled the scene.
The victim who sustained critical injuries is a man in his 40s, while the deceased man was in his 50s. The authorities have not released the suspect’s description, and the details surrounding the altercation leading to the shooting remain unknown at this time.
It is a tragic incident that has left the community in shock and mourning for the loss of life. The Galveston County Sheriff’s Office is actively investigating the case to bring the perpetrator to justice and provide closure to the victims’ families.
